From 12:00 – 2:40pm today Shanghai Telecom was experiencing router problems for servers in the 61.129.88.xx address space in the data centre at WuSheng Lu (the main Shanghai Telecom building).

\u6b66\u80dc\u673a\u623f\u6258\u7ba1\u4e86\u670d\u52a1\u566861.129.88\u6bb5\u57284\u670816\u65e512:00-14:00\u51fa\u73b0\u65e0\u6cd5\u8bbf\u95ee\u8fde\u63a5\uff0c\u7ecf\u68c0\u67e5\u8be5\u6bb5\u5747\u51fa\u73b0\u8be5\u79cd\u60c5\u51b5\u3002\u6211\u4eec\u516c\u53f8\u6280\u672f\u5411\u7535\u4fe1\u53cd\u6620\u8be5\u60c5\u51b5\u540e\uff0c\u7ecf\u7535\u4fe1\u67e5\u770b\u662f\u7531\u4e8e\u8be5\u6bb5\u4e2d\u6709\u4e3b\u673a\u53d1\u9001\u5e7f\u64ad\u5305\u5bfc\u81f4\u8def\u7531\u4e2d\u6bd2\uff08\u73af\u8def\uff09\u800c\u9020\u6210\u7684\uff0c\u7ecf\u8fc7\u7d27\u6025\u7684\u62a2\u4fee\u6700\u7ec8\u6062\u590d\u6b63\u5e38\u3002\u6b64\u6b21\u7ed9\u8d35\u516c\u53f8\u7684\u65e5\u5e38\u8fd0\u4f5c\u5e26\u6765\u5f88\u591a\u4e0d\u4fbf\uff0c\u5728\u6b64\u6df1\u8868\u6b49\u610f\u3002<\/p>\n
Unfortunately once they had resolved their router issues, at around 3pm,\u00a0 Shanghai Telecom decided to create some new ones, by arbitrarily rebooting all the servers in that address space.
\nDue to their actions, on reboot, our database server could not fully mount the data partition, and so a number of our client websites were unaccessible, as was our webmail service.<\/p>\n
Repairing the damage caused by Shanghai Telecoms actions took around 2 1\/2 hours.<\/p>\n
Full services resumed at approximately 5:20pm<\/p>\n
All services are currently running smoothly, although we do have some reports of connectivity issues from some clients.
\nIf you are still unable to connect to the mail server, please turn off your ADSL modem or Router, and log onto the internet again.
\n(This will clear any route issues\u00a0 in your router, and you should be able to connect successfully.)<\/p>\n
